Coalescence is a nonprofit organization with a vision to inspire diverse people to coalesce through creating vibrant, inclusive community gathering spaces where individuals and organizations can come together to share ideas, build connections, and make a positive impact in our neighborhood and beyond.
Community around coffee is an ancient tradition that we believe is worth preserving, expressed here through thoughtfully sourced coffees from farms across the globe and a space designed for connection. Since opening our Norfolk location in 2020 and our Richmond location in August 2025, we’ve continued growing that vision — one cup and one community at a time.

Coalescence Coffee offers private event space rental at two Virginia locations: Norfolk (226 W 24th St) and Richmond (23 w. Broad St.). Our spaces accommodate a range of events including corporate meetings, birthday parties, baby showers, bridal events, community workshops, and nonprofit gatherings. Spaces can be booked individually or combined for larger events.
