Up to 20 spots in the Armed Forces Brewing Company lot across the street for $2.25/vehicle/hour depending on availability. AFBC parking must be reserved and paid for 2 weeks prior to your event. Talk to our Events Coordinator for more details!

Yes, apart from seafood, other strong-smelling foods, and coffee/hot tea (which must be purchased from Coalescence)! Check out our catering menu below!

Step 1: Obtain a 1-day banquet license through VAABC.
Step 2: Provide the Events Coordinator with a copy of the license.
Step 3: Bring your own alcohol and A) self-serve or B) hire a Coalescence bartender at $25/bartender/hour. The number of bartenders required depends on guest count.

We offer 3 unique spaces: the Community Room, Rwanda Room, and Café!
You can pair the Community Room with the Rwanda Room or the Café with the Community Room by lifting the shared garage door, or choose to rent the Whole Shop!

This fee covers pre- and post-event cleaning, trash removal, and staff support to ensure the space is event-ready.

Yes, for an added cost, we offer barista services for your events, including hand-poured coffees and espresso beverages! Choose between our two service options: the Standard Barista Service, which includes a selection of coffee and espresso beverages, or the Premium Barista Service, which features our seasonal signature drink menu and hand-poured coffees. Choose between a hosted bar, where you open a tab to cover your guests' drinks (requires leaving a card on file), or a cash bar, where guests purchase their own drinks. Let us elevate your event and impress your guests with exceptional coffee service!

Clients may reschedule their event one time at no cost with at least 90 days' notice. All rescheduling is subject to availability. Any additional changes or rescheduling within 90 days of the event date will result in a fee of 25% of the total rental fee.
Cancellations made with less than 14 days' notice will not be refunded, unless due to Force Majeure such as: natural disasters, acts of war, government restrictions, acts of God, or a family death. This policy ensures fairness and availability for all clients. Thank you for your cooperation.

Events must conclude by 10PM to comply with our permit restrictions. However, breakdown time can extend past 10PM.

"Coalescence was the perfect place for our video production. The shop was large enough that we could film two projects simultaneously in different corners of the space. We loved that the garage door could roll up in between the two meeting rooms to make one larger space. There is plenty of natural light in the main shop which was perfect for what we needed. And I can’t rave enough about the staff! Everyone we interacted with was helpful and kind, and JT went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our production. He was always quick to respond to any questions and was incredibly accommodating throughout the entire process. Also, I highly recommend catering food through their kitchen — our crew raved about how delicious the breakfast sandwiches and coffee were. We hope to come back for future projects!"
